Based on the work of Pellegrino Artusi, author of the “bible” of Italian cuisine, Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well, this program will begin with a cultural introduction to the values of Artusi and an in-depth study of the quality of local raw materials. It will not only show and teach you the details behind a series of gems of home cooking, it will elaborate on the recent UNESCO recognition of Italian cuisine as an intangible world treasure and introduce you to chefs: from homemakers to Michelin chefs to a legend who cooked for the  pope. In the kitchen, in the museum, at the table, the art of cooking and eating will permeate your stay and inspire you to create your own masterpieces.
